Please inform your clients that airline check-in agents may charge baggage fees for domestic flights even when connecting to/from an international flight. When clients check-in for their domestic flight, they should always show their international e-ticket number/air schedule because airline agents may waive the baggage fee when clients are connecting to/from an international flight. We have, however, noticed an increase in the number of check-in agents that are charging the baggage fee for the domestic flights and therefore clients do need to be prepared to pay for baggage fees, which are currently approximately per person in each direction. This information is being noted on Final Invoices and is also provided in the client’s documents, but it would be a good idea to inform your clients of what to expect if they are departing from a city other than JFK.
